Perched at an altitude of around 11,800 ft – Dayara Bugyal is considered as India's one of the most beautiful alpine meadows trek. Located in the North-west part of Uttarakhand, this garden of nature can make anyone go weak on their knees. "Bugyal" means meadow in the local language, which means land covered with grass. The Dayara Bugyal trek is a paradise for nature lovers, mesmerizing snow-clad mountains.

And when you reach the summit, on your way, you will be mesmerized with mystical hues of nature changing colors with every season to bewitching peaks like Gangotri, Draupadi, and Dunda. It is a place filled with high biodiversity with picturesque views.

DAY 1: DEHRADUN TO RAITHAL

Begin your journey from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Drive through scenic mountain roads, passing through Mussoorie and Uttarkashi. Reach Raithal village, a beautiful hamlet at 7,600 feet, which serves as the base camp for Dayara Bugyal trek. Enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere and prepare for the trek ahead. Overnight stay in Raithal.

DAY 2: RAITHAL TO GUI, 5 KM TREK

Start your trek from Raithal through dense oak and rhododendron forests. The trail gradually ascends with stunning views of the surrounding valleys. Trek for approximately 5 km to reach Gui campsite at 10,000 feet. Experience the transition from forests to open meadows. Set up camp and enjoy the serene mountain environment under the starlit sky.

DAY 3: THE SUMMIT DAY, 7 KM TREK

The most exciting day of the trek! Wake up early and trek to the magnificent Dayara Bugyal meadows at 11,800 feet. Walk through vast expanses of lush green meadows (or snow-covered in winter) with panoramic 360-degree views of Himalayan peaks including Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, Srikanth, Gangotri ranges, and Draupadi ka Danda. Spend time exploring the endless meadows and capturing breathtaking photographs. Return to Gui campsite for overnight stay.

DAY 4: GUI TO DEHRADUN

Descend from Gui campsite back to Raithal village through the beautiful forest trails. Drive back to Dehradun with unforgettable memories of the pristine alpine meadows, stunning Himalayan views, and the peaceful mountain experience. Tour concludes in Dehradun.
