DAY 0 – Delhi to Rishikesh
Begin your Himalayan adventure with an overnight journey from Delhi to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. Travel through scenic routes as you head towards the gateway of the Garhwal Himalayas. Get ready for an unforgettable experience combining snow, spirituality, and stunning mountain landscapes.
DAY 1 – Rishikesh to Joshimath
Drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath through spectacular mountain roads. Pass through Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag. Enjoy stunning views of the Alaknanda River valley and surrounding peaks. Joshimath serves as the gateway to Auli and several important pilgrimage sites. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
DAY 2 – Joshimath – Auli – Sari
Take the cable car ride to Auli, one of Asia's longest and highest cable car rides, offering breathtaking aerial views. Explore Auli's snow-covered slopes and meadows with panoramic views of Nanda Devi (7,816m), Mana Parvat, Kamet, and Dunagiri peaks. Experience skiing or simply enjoy the pristine snow landscape. Later, drive to Sari village near Chopta. Overnight stay in Sari.
DAY 3 – Chopta-Tungnath-Chandrashila to Chopta
Early morning trek from Chopta to Tungnath Temple (3.5 km), the highest Shiva temple in the world at 12,073 feet. Walk through enchanting rhododendron forests and alpine meadows. After darshan at Tungnath, continue the steep 1.5 km trek to Chandrashila Summit at 13,188 feet. Witness breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, Kedar Peak, and countless Himalayan giants. Descend back to Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta.
DAY 4 – Gopinath-Rishikesh-Delhi
Drive back to Rishikesh and continue to Delhi. Reflect on the incredible journey through Auli's snow paradise, Chopta's meadows, Tungnath's spiritual energy, and Chandrashila's majestic summit. Arrive in Delhi with unforgettable memories of the Garhwal Himalayas.
